Contractors must ensure their employees working on Downer projects are competent and qualified.
Downer requires all civil workers to hold a valid Pegasus card with the relevant project roles to work on site.
This process should be followed only after your business has been registered in the Downer Contractor Portal.
Civil worker registration and induction bookings
Step 1 >
Login to the Downer Contractor Portal by selecting Register/Login at the top of the page >>
Select to Manage Employee Data and then Add Employee. Complete the details about your employee, and Save.
Step 2 >
Click Process next to the employee’s name to Select Roles they’ll complete for Downer. Save to have their access card processed and sent.
Step 3 >
The system will prompt you to upload evidence of their qualifications to work in the role/s you’ve selected, including a photo for their access card.
Step 4 >
As you’ve selected role/s, corresponding training has also been chosen. Now you can book the inductions your employees must complete to work for Downer. Select the training, add to cart and proceed to checkout to pay $75 + GST per person for registration and training (yearly cost $30 + GST).
Step 5 >
Pegasus will review your employee’s registration and training request, and on approval, you’ll be emailed details about their training.
